Otway Preserves & Pennyroyal Farm - specialising in fruit laden small batch, hand crafted condiments. Relish, jam, chutney, sauce, raw honey, pita crisps, nut butters, and boiled lollies.

There’s no substitute for the use of the best quality ingredients and small-batch production.

Our products feature locally sourced fruit and vegetables, and where possible we use 100% Australian ingredients. Some of our condiments use a small percentage of imported spice that we cannot source locally. We also stock a carefully selected range of raw honey, double-roasted nut butters, pita crisps, and old-fashioned boiled lollies.

Our Otway Preserves and Pennyroyal Farm labels are homemade (handcrafted) on Pennyroyal Farm Fyansford, in small batches to maximize taste, and to ensure quality and nutritional value.

We only use 100% natural ingredients. No preservatives, colors, additives, and  no corn syrup is used. Our products are 100% Gluten Free.

Local producer Pennyroyal Farm Otway Preserves wins Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the 2019 Australian Food Awards.

In only their 2nd year of entering owners, Deb and Chris Horniblow were delighted to receive 9 medals (1 Gold, 3 Silver, and 5 Bronze) with the ultimate prize on their Strawberry Preserve, the only Victorian producer to be awarded Gold in the sweet Preserves Category. 

We’ve always been told by our customers how great our products are so it’s wonderful recognition to have this confirmed by industry experts judging the competition. Last year we submitted 2 products receiving medals for both Raspberry Preserve (Silver) and our Tomato Relish (Bronze). The Australian Foods Awards (AFA), conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) offers Australian producers broad opportunities to leverage their success locally and internationally with AFA’s national brand seal of quality.

Why we make preserves,  not jam?

We make preserves because we only use whole fruits in our recipes. This ensures a chunkier and GREAT TASTING product! All our preserves have pieces of real fruit which provide a  fruitier product full of flavour. Jams are generally made from puree or crushed fruit… we do call our chunky fig spread – fig jam, however! Just seems strange otherwise.

All our products are made with love and care using the best ingredients from local farmers throughout Australia . We make a delicious range of preserves, condiments, chutneys and relishes. We supply to local shops, cafes, hotels and fine food purveyors. You can also shop with us direct.

Where are PENNYROYAL FARM OTWAY PRESERVES manufactured?

All of our preserves, condiments, chutneys and relishes are made at Pennyroyal farm, located in Fyansford just outside Geelong, Victoria, Australia.
